The fifty two year old Dumfries man stated that he is looking forward to this new challenge and he would try to lead the club back to the pinnacle of the game in Scotland and beyond.

The businessman would also be a part of board of directors of Rangers International Football Club. The Scottish club has been looking forward to fill up Craig Mather who stepped down previous month.
