CHELSEA FORWARD CLOSE TO TRANSFER MOVE

The transfer window is open with several clubs making signings and other transfer decisions. Chelsea meanwhile are set to lose highly rated forward Taylor-Crossdale according to reports in England.  Sky Sports reports that the player is close to joining German sure Hoffeinham in the summer.

Taylor-Crossdale is said to be looking for a new challenge after failing to break into the Blues first team. Several quality British players have increased in the Bundesliga due to the opportunities afforded to young players.

The success of Jason Sancho and Reiss Nelson to a lesser degree has shown that the German league is an excellent place for youngsters to gain regular football.AdemolaLookman also impressed during his time at RB Leipzig last two seasons.

It was believed that Scottish side Rangers had expressed interest in the youngster and had offered him a contract.  Rangers are looking to add more firepower to their squad as they look to challenge perennial champions Celtic for the League title next season.

However, the forward appears to have his sights set on a move away from the UK as he looks to build his career.

Taylor-Crossdale had a good stint in his formative years at the Blues and has an history of being the top scorer at the u18 league title.

It is understood that he has gone for medicals with little details about his contract needed be ironed out.   He is known for his pace and ability to finish opportunities and would be a good addition to Hoffeinham.

He has made the best decision as he would be able to enjoy regular first team football at Hoffeinham.  It would be interesting to see how he develops in Germany but from all indications he has the talent to succeed.
