Kenny Miller’s transfer from Vancouver Whitecaps to Rangers has already been confirmed and announced as the veteran attacker will be returning to the Ibrox Stadium for the 3rd time but he is not the only target that Ally McCoist and the club is trying to sign as there are a few other players in the transfer market that McCoist is attempting to sign.

Scott Allan was recently released from West Bromwich Albion after spending 2 seasons with the Premier League club but failed on making any kind of impact or appearances with West Bromwich and is now a free agent.

Ally McCoist has been a long-time admirer of Scott Allan and now that he has become a free agent he will try to bring the midfielder on a free transfer to Rangers.

Darren McGregor of St.Mirren is reaching the last few days of his contract with the Scottish club and McCoist wants to strengthen the defensive department of his squad with McGregor turning out to be as an ideal summer target.

Taking into consideration that Dundee and Hearts are also interested in signing Scott Allan it will be a huge accomplishment if Ally McCoist is able to sign 28 year old centre back.

Allan has battled back from 2 serious injuries some years ago but has still managed on returning into the pitch and has made a name for himself as he was one of the top defenders of his club last season.

Ally McCoist wants to reinforce his squad before the start of the upcoming season and the club has already revealed their pre-season plans which include having a 12 day trip to America and Canada as they have to play 2 matches in each country.
